Hey guy's,

My charge meter is reading full charge atm. Basically I watched it happen on the way home on Saturday. So I bumped the headlights on to high beam, hit the fan and brought it back to some where close to where it normally sits.

Assuming it's an ammeter it's only reading Amps, not volts so it's not over charging?

If they are Voltmeter's well then I would assume the regulator died and it's charging and like 20 volts or something stupid.

VG standard cluster BTW

Any info on where to start would be great.

Thanks

Stick a volt meter on the battery, if it's charging more that 14.5 volts then the regulator is stuffed. Basically the amp meter is wired from the alt to the amp meter then to the battery. If it over charges it will register on the amp meter.
