My vc has a jury-rigged washer on it that passed inspection, but I wan tto get it as original as possible. I have a genuine washer bottle and elect. pump, my wiper whitch has 2 terminals out the back, and the button is spring-loaded; is the switch push buootn to activate the pump, and if so how is it wired? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? I have photos of the bottle, pump and switch, but can't get them to download - any tips?? many thanks in anticipation. :?

I looked through my VC book and the std VC switch has two terminals to control the wiper motor, the switch for the washer bottle setup has four wires (VE book), two for the wiper, a park terminal to make sure the wipers park when switched off and a centre terminal for the washer. Washer earths through the switch to operate it. You can use a VE and up type switch and wire it in.
