Finally got round to getting my cylinder head built. Cylinder head warehouse carried out the work and i couldnt be more pleased with the end product.

I had fitted the hot street performance dual valve spring kit from Hemi265.com, new valves, intake are stainless milodon oversised, all surfaces got skimmed, 100thou off the face, hardened seats, springs seats and valve guide bosses got machined, new valve guides, obviously had a bath and a crack test also. All ill need now is to get new welsh plugs in there get it on and work out pushrod length.

Ive also been collecting bits to throw a 4sp in. Everybody kept suggesting to get the right timing cover so i have done that also, and sourced a pair of tuff mounts and an afr guage so see how that goes.

Good stuff, I'm loving the mods you're doing. My VE has similar mods already done. Yours is going to be killer once it's up and running. Keep posting progress pics.

the car has been home again, the chassis, suspension and brakes are all done and working, i just have to take the car back for rear shocks and handbrake cables at a later date. I think i may have already mentioned but because the springs have been dropped 3" and are now inboard on the chassis rails the oem length Calverts i bought didnt have much travel at all, bottoming shocks out on bump stops is ok for some but i wouldn't mind hunting down something shorter. Most blokes in the same boat have ordered custom shocks. I also bought some vip buckets so im ready to rocknroll with that 4 speed swap. List now is still big wiring fuel system box swap fitting the shelves of new parts ill get more progress pics once i finish some of that stuff completely. The end is in sight i wouldn't mind a few passes at Mopar Sunday to see whats up this year!
