For those of you not used to running 1/8th mile try this handy table to give you a better idea.
Moderators may even want to sticky it somewhere.

Here's another really good one I swear by out of the old DC chassis manual.
I use it by reading the mph to see what a particular car's capabilities are.If your ET doesn't match up to your mph,well....that's how much your missing out on from lack of traction.

Moderators may want to sticky it too?
It's real good info

Not bad at all. I swear by my Moroso calculator/slide rule. Works a treat especially for seeing what your et should be for a given MPH verses car weight.

Yeah,I use a Moroso too but the above chart is a brilliant reference for a car's potential regardless of weight or hp.
If you run say,100mph, it tells you that you aint ever going to get better than a 13.1 unless you find more mph which means building more hp.

Good to hear you can relax now big fella.

To put my two bob in, I'd like to congratulate you Shaun and Darryl especially for the countless hours you both put into the club in general. Absolute pillars of the QCA for the time you both commit. Give yourselves a hug  Additional thanks to Ian for getting the ball rolling and his support of the Warwick dragway as a venue. Definitely an excellent relaxed venue for social drag racing.

How about the powder puff class? A definite winner there. Tammy has already asked me if she can race the Charger at Rocky. I said, "Yes dear, anything for sexual favours!"

Thanks Ken. That is me. Tammy had the open face helmet on.

I have to say, I miss my top gear skids. The second gear burnouts are a yawn. I kept looking in the rearview mirror waiting for the smoke to rise!

:D Hi all...well what a great weekend Ryan and I had a blast, Thanks to all that organised the weekend and put in the hard yards so people like myself and crew could just rock up and test our skills and our cars!
Well it was a great oportunity for both myself and my son Ryan to get ourselves familiar with a track and the Xmas tree.....Thanx Steve who taught me not to wait for the green before putting down the right foot  My reaction times went from 1.9 sec to my PB at.........0.408.. so I went from chasing steve to the reverse...thanx mate
Well ryan only broke a 30 yr old engine mount and fixed it early sunday and got back on the track all by himself...not bad as he is going for his P plates tomorrow, watch out fellas!
and the only thing i destroyed was a set of 17" inch set of rear rubber, well all in the name of fun!!! :D
and then to have Nitro mag do a shoot on the car to top it off.
After the whole weekend to be able to pack up the camping gear in both cars that raced is what owning Vals is all about
And to do all of this with a freshly broken arm was a bit of a mission. but it did make it interesting.

I now cant wait to get my new toy going and on the track! so hopefulluyI will have a car up there with the big boys, How does a 74 dodge charger with twin snails feedings its 440 sound..MMMMMMM well it should sound good.
It was with out a doubt one of the best weekend a bloke can have.. cars.. family..beer...friends and music,, give me a few weeks and I might get over it,,
I have some good video footage that I will try to get onto some discs for those who want a copy.
let me know and I will bring some on the next outing... Cheers
