Great weekend guys, the event has loads potenial.

The 1/8 mile racing took a while for me to get used, but once the track came around in racing and the car was going straight it was all good. Was pretty busy for the first few runs.

Maybe next year we'll have the Charger down there :)

Had a ball, took a bit to get the ute running ok, but managed a 7.58 @90.73 mph, and backed it up with a 7.600 @89.8mph and had a 1.67 60foot, very happy with those times, still more in it yet, 1/8th to 1/4 conversion says 11.80 et so can't complain,

Good to see you city slickers experience what we do on a daily basis :D Seriously, had an absolute ball, thank everyone that made this event happen - officials, drivers and spectators. I think the winners of the day were the kids getting their medals - my 6yo is now a winner and he is stoked. It's hanging up on the wall and he is going to take it to school today - big surprise and very thoughtful. Thank you to all the sponsors.

Gary

What a top weekend. The family and i had a great weekend from giving the old car a run to socializing and camping. Well run and the raceway staff were great to deal with. All in all brilliant, can't wait for next year.

We just got back to my place half an hour ago.
Matt (CENTURION) in the big white 65 Fury hardtop has just left my place and still has another 6 hrs north to go.

Well done Ken and Matt for coming all the way down to visit us.

I had a great weekend, meeting up with lots of freinds and new people. And giving the car a flogging :)

Congrats to Darryl and all the crew in the back ground that made it all happen.

Mark

This was my first time there....Was great to be a part of it , thanks to Dave and Darryl for running me into Town Friday night for "Supplies"....Who knew Warwicks bottle shop shuts at 6pm on a Friday,...luckily the drive through was open...
Matt and Ken had a few car troubles on the way down (I know no pics didn't happen)
Apparently Cal mentioned that Ace Traditionally hugs Darryl at some stage during the event ,Ace was no where to been scene so Cal did the duties ... ..oh and I joined in....(It seemed to be the thing to do)...

Thanks for your commentating help there Dave, and glad you guys made it back ok, and hopefully Matts shifter cable is sorted, huge effort coming this far,
James Harrisons winged Charger caught on fire in the staging lanes from the shifter cable melting.
