Yes, awesome weekend, thanks heaps to you guys bringing your wicked machines, its everyone contributing and supporting it one way or another that makes such a great event.
Well done to the trophy takers, and we'll get all the results up soon.
There will be plenty of photos and vids going up over the next few days.

Where is the entry form for next year?
I had a fantastic time Just starting to get it going good when the gearbox called it quits.
Still worth it with a 6.755 @ 101mph
Engine and box coming out tomorrow for a fix.
Bring on Mopar Sunday :)
If anyone got some pics or video of my ute, Message me and I will arrange to get them.

Cheers

Dave

Dave sounds like all those electrical jobs you saved up for this week just got bumped to next week! :). Good to chat in the pits (we were camping 'next door'). You got some great results this weekend. Thorpy

Yep great weekend. Seemed to go by real fast.

Had a pretty good run in qualifiying. Car still isn't running 100%. Had a good first round except I broke out agaist the Grand Champion. Then had a shocker after that and decided to do big burnouts.

Can anyone suggest were to source a new MSD Dizzy and leads from down here?

performance wholesale in slacks creek would be your best bet. or maybe davedart

Warwick dragway staff allways put on a great weekend thay are a great bunch of people who all work for free so a big thankyou to them.
Thankyou to all the sponsors for the money and great trophies , i never thaught i would be the last man standing i was hungover to the max and there were some fast cars and great racers there . The grand champion concept was unreal thats the best fun racing coz if you dont cut a good light you wont catch the the other car so the preasure is on .

It is Nicole here (Gary's wife), I just wanted to thank you all for a great weekend. For everyone who organised it, you did a great job! Living near Warwick, it's very hard to get to club runs, so this is definitely a highlight for us for the year. Thank you Darryl for encouraging me to race, and again thanks to Steve for his tips and Sue for the encouragement, Gary was not telling me much :-) And I must say thank you to my hubby for letting me drive the Booger :D Yes I was worried I was going to break it, and that all went out the window when the lights went green.... I can see why you all love racing. My trophy has taken pride of place over the computer desk, for everyone to see! He won't hear the end of this for a while... LOL.

Ok, guess who these 2 are?
Left: ? (looks like international model with long hair, but different)
Right: ? (well known racer/mechanic in QCA who may be vertically challenged)

Although I didn't race this year (Trent did all the racing), I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. I'll stick my neck out and say its probably the premier QCA event of the year in my books.

I want to congratulate all the winners and commiserate with those who ended up with broken cars, but I know they'll be back, it's in the blood!

I enjoyed meeting some new folk and talking about their cars and caught up with the QCA regulars.

Congratulations to Ian on taking out the inaugural grand champion trophy, well deserved mate. Sorry to hear about the work situation, I hope that works out for you and your family soon.

Thanks to the Warwick crew for their support of our event and to the QCA volunteers who commit their time and energy to making this event a success.

Cheers
